Instructions for Using Your Monthly Budget Template

Step 1: Input Your Income

  1. Navigate to the Income Database.

  2. Add your income sources by manually entering the following fields:

• Source: The name of the income source (e.g., Salary, Freelance, etc.).

• Date: The date the income was received.

• Amount: The income amount for that source.

Step 2: Record Your Expenses

  1. Navigate to the Expenses Database.

  2. Add your expenses by manually entering the following fields:

• Category: The type of expense (e.g., Rent, Groceries, etc.).

• Date: The date the expense occurred.

• Amount: The total amount spent.

Step 3: Calculate Your Leftover Budget

  1. Navigate to the Leftover Monthly Budget Allocation Database.

  2. To properly calculate the monthly leftover budget, you must manually input the Total Income and Total Expenses into their respective fields.

  3. The leftover budget will be automatically calculated once both properties are filled.

Step 4: Adjust Your Savings and Recreational Goals

  1. In the Leftover Monthly Budget Allocation Database, you can customize your savings and recreational goals.

  2. Adjust these goals in their respective fields to better reflect your financial priorities for the month.

Step 5: Manage and Track Your Budgets

  1. Use filters or views in the Income and Expenses databases to focus on specific time periods, such as monthly tracking.

  2. Review your Leftover Budget Allocation regularly to ensure you’re meeting your goals.
